Our 2 year reunion

I'm Cynthia Farmer, we had our first China Adoption Group reunion this past weekend, (July 6, 7, & 8) in Kill Devil Hills, NC at the OBX (Outer Banks). It was a huge success with 8 of the 11 couples in our group attending. All the girls are now three years old, seemed very well adjusted, all bonded well, and got along very good. They loved playing on the beach in the sand and swimming in the pool. We could barely get them in to take their their naps. We loved watching them, hearing each of them talk with each other, talking about the things they all like to do, like to eat, what foods they enjoy. Each child had a great love for all foods. It was a very amazing thing to see all the girls together who came from the same orphanage and who were all in the same room together, some maybe in the same cribs. It was a very emotional time for me because I was unable to go to China with my husband to get our Eva. Our friend traveled with my hubby to help out. So this was the first time I had met everyone. What a time to cherish. We are making plans for our next reunion in June of 2008 for Gulf Coast. We have promised we will not let a year go by without getting together, we have a bond like no other.....
