Months before we traveled to China, we learned of an incredible project, the Hands of Hope Wall, promoted by Angel Covers and Love Without Boundaries. There was a lot of uncertainty as to exactly where the exact location of the Wall and when construction would get underway. We were thrilled to see our tile in the Virtual Wall. The project finally gained momentum and through a seemingly exciting partnership with the Philip Hayden Foundation, the Wall found a home at the Shepherd's Field Children's Village playground area just outside of Bejing. If anyone should travel to Beijing, we would love to have a picture of our tile that sits with so many other messages of love!

This Hands of Hope Wall is lovely. Can you still purchase the tiles or is the wall full? I would love to have my niece remembered in her homeland. The town in which she was born no longer exists as it was absorbed into a larger municipality. Can you help with this?
Hey Curt,
Mary and I have been to the site of the Hands of Hope. One year after adopting Juliana and meeting you guys in Nanchang, we returned to China for our son Nathan, who was living at the Langfang Children's Village. The Shepherd's Field was still under construction when we were there, in August 2005. We hope to return to Langfang next year, although not for an adoption this time. We would like to take the youth group from our church on a mission trip to volunteer at the Village.
BTW, we were back in Nanchang this year when we adopted our third China child. Sarabeth was from the Nanchang City SWI.
John K.
